KS Energy Services is a growing construction company that installs underground pipes and cables that power our lives—from lighting offices to heating homes. As the company continues to grow we are looking for a Supply Chain Intern to help make sure the company stays on track to reach our goals.
Nature of Work:
This intern position will work full-time in the Summer of 2021, with potential to continue part-time in the Fall of 2020.The Supply Chain Intern will provide administrative and reporting support, run scheduled and ad-hoc reports, data entry and other support functions. intern will be responsible for a variety of small and large-scale projects. These projects include but are not limited to investigating and analyzing various service discrepancies, supporting the Supply Chain team with ad-hoc analysis projects, and process improvement initiatives. KS Supply Chain team members manage multiple aspects of our Supply Chain, including program negotiations, supplier onboarding, and data management.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties listed below may vary in terms of importance and other duties may be added or eliminated as this position develops.
- Supports functional staff by performing basic and repetitive assignments.
- Participates in a variety of assignments in cross-functional areas.
- Performs specific and limited portions of less complex assignments for leadership.
- Assists with developing and managing supplier relationships, including cost and operations-based negotiations.
- Onboards suppliers, including system setup, contract loading, documentation practices and ensures successful transition into the ERP system.
- Assists with inventory maintenance and analysis
- Provides metrics and reports to leadership.

- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and provide high customer service.
- Ability to work independently, or with a team.
- Minimum of sophomore standing
- Preferred GPA 3.0 or higher
