KS Energy Services, LLC is seeking Laborers, Operators and Drillers with experience in telecommunication. These are front-line positions that may be responsible for both supervisory tasks as well as physical construction. The ideal candidates will possess knowledge of methods, materials, and techniques in order to maintain a safe work environment. They must also be a go-getter with a great attitude and the willingness to achieve set goals. Our crews are responsible for maintaining good communication, working relations with supervisors and subordinates, and resolve problems with appropriate and timely decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities: Duties listed below may vary in terms of importance and other duties may be added or eliminated as this position develops.

  • Maintain open communication with team members.
  • Responsible for obtaining materials, locating facilities, hauling equipment, and spotting.
  • In an emergency, secure the scene, and notify utility, police, fire department and area manager.
  • Responsible for communicating with inspectors, homeowners, and crews in a positive and effective way.
  • Complete proper documentation regarding all at fault and non-at-fault dig in damages, employee injuries, vehicle accidents and property damages.
  • Be familiar with utility practices and procedures. Know where to access detailed information.

Required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required.   1. Utility field experience working with telecommunincations and fiber optics.
  2. A keen attention to detail, the ability to adjust to dynamic conditions, and situational awareness to maintain the safety of work environment.
  3. Exceptional communication skills.
  4. Demonstrated leadership capability.
  5. Strong work ethic with the ability to lead and motivate others.

Desired Qualifications:

  1. Familiar with OSHA (State & Federal) rules and regulations.
  2. Completion of OSHA 10 Hour Training.
  3. Class A CDL.
  4. Experience using Microsoft Office Programs.
