Nature of Work:

The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for performing business systems analysis and support of company-wide IT business applications.  This position will also be responsible for creating documentation for standard operating procedures, in regard to current and future state.  The IT Systems Analyst will partner with all business units to configure and implement system applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works with IT Director and key stakeholders to clearly define and document the organization’s business requirements, processes, and risks.
  • Coordinates, tracks, and plans technology initiatives across functional business groups.
  • Supports multiple software applications and platforms.
  • Solves configuration and software defect issues - either independently, or through 3rd party providers.
  • Keeps focus on immediate business need while aligning technologies to overall corporate strategy.
  • Maintains a positive, productive relationship with business function leaders and team members by understanding their needs and perspective.
  • Proactively focuses on continuous improvement with the business, reviewing both process and system functionality to meet ongoing objectives.
  • Proposes modifications and enhancements to improve functionality, increase process efficiency, and/or addresses any issues that arise.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in Business, Management Information Systems major preferred, with a strong desire to apply general business knowledge to IT application delivery, enhancement, and maintenance.
  • Demonstrates analytical thinking and problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and propose solutions.   
  • Ability to understand perspective of the business and end users, and apply that understanding to solution proposals.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills to both internal and external clients.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.

  • May be required to work past normal office hours in order to meet deadlines and workload.
