KS Energy Services is a growing construction company that installs underground pipes and cables that power our lives—from lighting offices to heating homes. As the company continues to grow, we are looking for a Fleet Management Intern to help make sure the company stays on track to reach our goals.

Nature of Work:

This intern position is for the Summer of 2021. The Fleet Management Intern will be responsible for a variety of small and large-scale assignments.  KS Fleet team members manage multiple aspects of our Fleet, including inspections, compliance, reporting, and data management.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create processes, best practices, and documentation for Collective Data (asset management system).
  • Assist in automation of outside service parts being applied to work orders in Collective Data.
  • Track repair and maintenance service tickets.
  • Coordinate and assist with annual vehicle inspections.
  • Manage compliance of vehicles and drivers.
  • Create and maintain reports regarding idle time, utilization, mileage, safety and inventory.
  • May participate in other duties or assignments in cross-functional areas as well.

  1. Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or related field.
  2. Minimum of sophomore standing.
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  5. Skill to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Ability to maintain professionalism and provide high customer service.
  7. Energy to work independently, or with a team.
