Description
We are seeking an efficient, safety-minded Gas Fuser to join our team. This field worker is responsible for installing, inspecting and maintaining underground piping systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties listed below may vary in terms of importance and other duties may be added or eliminated as this position develops.
- Perform all duties according to prescribed safety & utility procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment.
- Responsible for installing, inspecting and maintaining underground piping systems.
- Use a hand shovel to dig around already installed pipelines
- Test piping system for any leaks
- Join pipes together through fusion
- Help the operator of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery.
Required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - CDL strongly preferred as well as ability to drive manual transmission.
- Mandatory fuse experience.
- Able to travel to job sites throughout assigned territory.

- Work performed in the field at various job sites in all weather conditions.
- This is a union position with equivalent union wages and benefits.
- Requires climbing, bending, turning, and lifting as part of entering and exiting excavations and manipulating tools and pipe.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
