Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Management Intern to join our growing team.
 

Nature of Work:

This intern position will work full-time in the Summer of 2021. The intern will work as part of the commercial organization. The position will support the Contract Manager, Business Development Manager, Commercial Leader, and Operations Director with bidding activities, customer interface, contracts, and business development activities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Organize Request for Proposal documentation, RFP documentation, which would including printing and assembly.
  • Contractor License registration/renewal
  • Request and fulfill Certificate of Insurance Requests
  • Request and fulfill Bond requests
  • Project/job number creation
  • Perform Opportunity Tracker analysis and assist in the development of commercial client project lists as needed. Works with the team to assist in preparation of client presentations.
  • Participate in Bid Review Calls and Business Development Calls.
  • Participate in internal deal review presentations.
  • Work as part of the deal team on Business Development Opportunities or new transactions.
  • Participate in client meetings or conference calls.
  • Complete other tasks and special projects as required.

  1. Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business is desirable
  2. Minimum of junior standing
  3. Preferred GPA of 3.5
  4. Demonstrated leadership in a club, volunteer or sports
  5. Initiative taker who can handle multiple priorities
  6. Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  7. Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented
  8. Strong project management and organizational skills
  9. Team player who can work closely with others to complete projects under tight deadlines
  10. Software skills: MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
